Cost
How much does it cost?
Unfortunately we cannot give a blanket price to cover all operations. Many different procedures will have widely varying prices. Contact us and we will give you a free no hassle estimate as to the cost of your operation based on our previous experience. If you are happy with the estimate then simply send us a 100 USD service charge and we will secure an official quotation on the cost of the operation.

Is cost the most important factor that I should consider?
No, it is an important criteria but you should consider many other factors as well. Including the type of hospital you would like to attend (public or private) and the level of luxury you demand as you recover.
Travel
What should I bring?
Your passport, a sense of adventure and a towel! In all seriousness you may need a visa for your travel, contact us and we can advise you on the current status. You should also contact your embassy for information on visa requirements to Singapore.

What is there to do in Singapore?
What is there not to do! For a quick starter you can find some information on our website here. More information can be found in the external links section.

Singapore is a great cosmopolitan city with fantastic shopping, food from all over the world, gleaming city towers, a lively nightlife and culture by the river. It is a place you can feel safe and secure and Singapore is rightly praised for its security, safety and cleanliness.

Do I need a visa?
You may need a visa depending upon which country you come from. Singapore has a visa waiver scheme with many countries. The Singapore Immigration and Checkpoints Authority maintains a list of countries that REQUIRE a visa for entry into Singapore. However this list varies from time to time and you should check with your local embassy or government office to get details of current restrictions in force. If you have any doubts, contact us and we can advise you.

Can I bring my family?
Yes, most definitely. In fact we can also arrange the travel of your entire family should you wish.

Worries
How safe is it to have an operation overseas?
Safety is an important consideration, and here at MediCuria we take safety very seriously. Singapore has rightly gained a reputation as the premier medical hub in South-East Asia. It has achieved this through the provision of very high quality healthcare and a unwavering dedication to safety and innovation in medical treatment.

What happens if I have to stay longer in the country after treatment?
We will advise you on the required procedure if you need to stay longer after treatment. We will be happy to reschedule your flight and extend your stay at the hotel whilst you recover.

How can it be safe to travel so far after a surgical procedure?
The hospital you attend will advise you on the length you will need to stay in Singapore whilst you recover. Different types of operation will require longer or shorter recuperation times. We will endeavour to organise your stay in Singapore as efficiently as possible.

Can I trust the quality of the foreign doctors?
Singapore has carefully cultivated a well deserved reputation for clinical excellence. This reputation comes not from promotion but from the skills and abilities of the Doctors and Nurses that endeavour to continually improve the level of medical care available in Singapore.

In addition, many doctors are trained in the US or in Europe in the highest quality of medical care.

Information
What if I don’t find the procedure that I require on your website?
You may well be surprised as to the breadth of treatments available overseas. The list is so long it is difficult for us to list every available treatment. If you do not see your treatment listed on our website here then contact us and we will advise you on the suitability of treatment overseas for you.

Will you collect me from the airport?
Yes, we will collect you from the airport. You can also make your own arrangements if you wish to travel as a 'Casual Traveller'. See the section here for more information.

What information will I need to provide to the doctors?
Once you contact us we will liaise between you and the doctors as to the sorts of data they require to make a judgement about your condition. Generally, we will need all relevant information on your medical condition, including x-rays, medical history/records and your current medication. Please also note our Privacy Policy with regard to your medical data.
